After a thorough cleanse, your therapist will use a handheld device to move across your facial and neck skin, applying pressurised crystals that effectively exfoliate the skin’s top layer, removing it as it moves with a suction technique. The treatment takes only 30-45 minutes and does not involve any painful feeling, only a slight tingling.
You may experience a slight redness after the treatment but this will quickly subside. We recommend a series of treatments dependent on your unique skin concerns. IPL is very effective for treating broken capillaries, pigmentation, discolouration and redness, as well as treating those who suffer with acne.
For targeting freckles, sunspots and other pigmentation and the redness and broken capillaries that can appear on the skin through damage, IPL works with light-based therapy to rejuvenate, targeting freckles, sunspots and other pigmentation plus the redness and broken capillaries caused by damage. A beam of many different wavelengths of light is absorbed into the skin cells targeted throughout the treatment to break down spots of melanin.
Your therapist will give you dark glasses to shield your eyes as they work. Gel is applied to the skin to lubricate the area and then we work the handpiece over your skin. The IPL pulses over the skin and you may feel more sensation in the areas that attract the light – capillaries and pigmentation – than in others. You will feel a noticeable sensation but not so much pain – think of the feeling of an elastic band being snapped over the skin. The procedure typically takes 30 minutes.
The number of treatments depends on your skin concerns but we typically recommend between1-3 treatments, to see long-term results. You may experience some slight redness or swelling after IPL, depending on your skin type. This will subside quickly but will give way to a darkening of any pigmentation treated, as the melanin breaks down. This will then clear within 1-2 weeks.

HydraFacial is the one for long-term skin solutions. It works by effectively and painlessly removing blackheads and whiteheads to improve any acne-prone or congested skin while also removing dead surface cells and generating intense hydration for dull or dehydrated skin. The device uses a patented spiral tip and unique suction technique to simultaneously exfoliate, clear blocked pores and infuse customised serums that nourish the skin. The treatment will begin after a consultation on your skin’s needs, which will help determine the serum we infuse. The serums can also be customised for pregnancy and breastfeeding. A deep cleanse and exfoliation with both salicylic and glycolic acid prepares the pores, after which a painless extraction of black and whiteheads is performed. Because dermablading doesn’t use any active ingredients, it’s the perfect rejuvenation treatment for those with sensitive skin. The movement and strokes of the dermablade increase circulation and skin radiance and the removal of dead skin cells creates a better environment for penetration of your skin care, making it much more effective. You can expect instantly fresh, noticeable smooth and glowing skin and there is no time down time with this treatment. Makeup goes on easily and sits better.
Your face will be thoroughly cleansed, after which the treatment begins with one of our trained therapists, who will gently move a sterile scalpel along the skin in a similar way to shaving. The treatment takes only 40 minutes.
Dermablading is extremely safe when administered by trained professionals. Depending on the skin condition, there is the rare risk that there could be slight nicks in the skin and this is why we do not recommend this treatment for those with acne. Despite what you may have heard, be assured that the hair removed by dermablading will not grow back darker or thicker, due to it being vellus hair and not terminal hair.
The results of dermablading are immediately visible but for exfoliation purposes, you will see best results after 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. For hair removal, you will need ongoing treatment, at the length of your hair cycle. You will not feel any pain with this treatment, only a slight tingling or the sensation you might feel with shaving.

Microneedling treatments are designed to create a safe healing response within the body to ignite natural collagen and elastin production from within the skin, without harsh side effects and downtime. Along with repairing the surface layers to result in a healthier dermis, micro needling will leave your skin looking brighter, tighter, more even toned, refined pores and reduced wrinkles. Your face, lip area, eye area, ears, neck, chest, hands and scalp are all treated with pinpoint precision to promote rapid lifting, firming and toning of facial features and contours. Your therapist will apply a local anaesthetic cream and allow it to take effect for a length of time. After this, the microneedling device is slowly moved around the face, following a path of gentle stamping to stimulate cell production and skin repair. Our microneedling does not promote bleeding, only a redness similar to a mild sunburn immediately post-treatment. This indicates a good result and will settle within 24-48 hours, so there is next to no down time. Results become apparent within a week’s time and the results continue to build over the next months, as collagen levels rejuvenate. You’ll see an evident improvement in skin tone and texture and results with pigmentation and scarring will continue with each treatment.
The number of treatments you need depends on your skin concerns but we typically recommend 3 treatments, spaced at intervals of 4-6 weeks to see good results. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise or alcohol for 24 hours after the treatment, as well as the application of makeup. All of these help to avoid the risk of infection or itchiness around the treatment site. Also make sure to avoid extended exposure to sun or UV light or extreme heat or freezing temperatures for at least 2 weeks. For any swelling, an ice pack can be applied to relieve discomfort. We highly recommend applying SPF50+ sunscreen to the treatment site and reapplying regularly if outside or exposed to sun.

Fraxel is ideal for those with active lifestyles, who want impactful results and an intensive treatment but none of the redness or time out that comes with other ablative lasers. If you have fine lines and wrinkles, age and sun spots, melanoma and hyperpigmentation, acne or surgical scars or general textural irregularities you want to address quickly and effectively, Fraxel is the go-to for restoring your skin.
Fraxel is non-ablative, meaning it doesn’t remove the top layer of skin but instead works on a deeper level to repair damage. The laser uses fractional technology to create micro-injuries on this deeper level of the dermis. As the skin heals, the channels repair themselves by creating new collagen, so you will continue to see the benefits of the treatment increase over six months. Your therapist will customise your laser treatment to ensure we address your concerns most effectively. Each treatment replaces about 15-20% of the damaged skin.
Your Fraxel session will take around 20-30 minutes for a full face, through which a ‘smart scanning’ hand piece ensures the laser is applied evenly to create consistent results. Your therapist will apply a topical anaesthetic beforehand and the handpiece blows cool air on the skin each time it applies the laser, so most people find the laser treatment comfortable, describing the feeling as a ‘prickling’ sensation.
Immediate results are visible in terms of glow (also a redness and tightness most easily described as like a mild sunburn which lasts a day or two) but the next few weeks will see pigmentation and spots lighten. Collagen continues to build over the coming months and the final results may be seen up to six months later. Depending on your skin concern and its severity, the number of treatments needed varies. For general skin rejuvenation, one to two treatments is typical but for hyperpigmentation or sun damage, treatments may number up to five, spaced two to four weeks apart.

Healite is the answer for increased skin healing and is a perfect and soothing add-on to many of our rejuvenation treaments. It also reduces inflammation, improves skin texture and definition, helps to kill acne-causing bacteria, improves rosacea, reduces the appearance of scars and increases appearance of healthy glowing skin.
We offer two coloured light options with different wavelengths of light to treat different areas of concern, which will be determined by your therapist in consultation. The Healite II LED works as a standalone treatment to promote skin rejuvenation or skin and wound healing.
Your Healite session is around 10 to 20 minutes long. A low-level light-therapy, you will likely find this treatment very relaxing, feeling the warm, bright light on your skin. After thoroughly cleansing your face, you will rest underneath a large, adjustable head that emits the light colour to address your specific skin concerns.
Healite requires no downtime and you will leave the salon with a healthy glow, able to see the improvements after each and every session. Multiple treatments are recommended, based on your needs. Your therapist will advise on the number of treatments during consultation.
